SAUNF CHICKEN Recipe
INGREDIENTS
100 gm chicken pieces
2 tsp aniseed paste
½ cup curd
1 tsp ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
2 tsp lime juice
¼ tsp salt
1 cup saunf (aniseed) leaves, chopped
1 tsp oil
METHOD
1. Mix the curd, masala paste, aniseed paste, lime juice and salt till
well combined. Marinate the chicken pieces in it for 2 hours.
2. Heat oil in a 2-litre pressure cooker and stir in the marinated chicken
and the saunf leaves. Mix the contents thoroughly and pressure cook.
3. Garnish it with fresh saunf leaves.
4. Serve hot with steamed basmati rice or chapatti.
