PRAWN KOFTA CURRY Recipe
INGREDIENTS
100 gm prawns for the koftas shelled and deveined
1 potato, peeled, boiled and mashed
1 tsp semolina, roasted
½ tsp ripe red chilli paste
1 tsp mint paste
¼ tsp salt
2 tsp oil
For the Curry
1 cup cucumber, grated
2 tsp coriander leaves
½ tsp ginger-garlic-paste
½ cup butter milk
¼ tsp salt
METHOD
1. Boil prawns with salt till tender and dry. Chop ti.
2. Mix the chopped prawns with the remaining kofta ingredients till well
combined and shape the mixture into marble shaped balls.
3. Heat oil in a pan and toss the prawn koftas on a high flame till brown.
Drain well.
4. Stir in the curry ingredients in the same oil and cook till tender.
5. Add the prawn koftas, mix the contents thoroughly and cook for a few
minutes.
6. Serve hot with rice or chapatti.
