MUTTON-N-MUSHROOM DUET Recipe
INGREDIETS
6 mutton pieces (100gm)
6 button mushrooms, chopped
2 onions, sliced
2 tsp tamarind pulp
3 red chillis
1 tsp poppy seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
4 flakes garlic
¼ tsp salt
1 tsp oil
METHOD
1. Cook the mutton pieces and the mushrooms with the salt till tender.
2. Roast and powder the poppy and sesame seeds.
3. Heat ½ tsp oil and fry the onion slices and the red chillis.
4. Grind the onions, red chillis, tamarind pulp and garlic into a fine
paste.
5. Heat the remaining quantity of oil and stir in the cooked mutton and
mushrooms.
6. Add the ground paste and the powder, mix the contents thoroughly, cover
the pan with the lid and cook for a few more minutes.
7. Garnish the dish with mint and coriander leaves.
