How to Prepare / Make / Cook - ?UPMA
UPMA INGREDIENTS
1 cup semolina
1 onion, minced
2 green chillis, minced
2 tsp curry leaves
2 tsp fenugreek seeds
For Seasoning
2 tsp oil
¼ tsp urad dal
¼ tsp mustard seeds
METHOD
1. Soak the fenugreek seeds, overnight, drain, dry and powder
2. Roast the semolina till the raw smell disappears.
3. Mix, the semolina and the fenugreek powder till well combined.
4. Heat oil and fry the seasoning ingredients.
5. Add the minced onion, chillies and the curry leaves and fry.
6. Add 2 cups of water and then add salt to it.
7. When the water begins to boil, add the semolina and cook till the contents
thicken.
8. Serve hot with chutney or sambhar.
