INGREDIENTS
1 cup rice
½ cup black gram (urad dal)
2 tsp fenugreek seeds
2 tsp oil
¼ tsp salt
METHOD
1. Soak the rice, dal and the fenugreek seeds overnight.
2. Next grind them along with the required quantity of water and salt
to a smooth batter.
3. Leave the batter aside for a few hours to ferment.
4. Spread 1 big spoonful of batter on a hot tava. When the base is golden,
spread 1 teaspoon oil over its edges, turn over and cook the other side.
5. Serve hot with sambhar or chutney.
