BITTER GOURD DELIGHT Recipe
INGREDEINTS
2 bitter gourds
4 tomatoes
2 onions
3 flakes garlic
½ inch piece ginger
2 green chillis
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp garam masala powder
1 tsp coriander leaves
1 tsp oil
¼ tsp salt
METHOD
1. Wash, peel and cut each bitter gourd into 1 inch pieces.
2. Boil bitter gourd with half the quantity of salt till tender and dry.
3. Grind tomato, onion, garlic, ginger, green chilli to a fine paste.
4. Roast the coriander seeds and the cumin seeds and powder it.
5. Now heat oil in a pan and stir in the ground paste and the remaining
quantity of salt. When the gravy begins to boil, add cooked bitter gourd
pieces, roasted powder, garam masala powder and the coriander leaves.
Cook till the gravy thickness.
6. Serve hot with rice or roti or chapatti.
