SOYABEAN OMELETTLE
INGREDIENTS
1 cup soya beans
2 onions, minced
2 green chilli minced
2 flakes garlic, minced
½ tsp ginger, grated
2 tsp coriander leaves
¼ tsp pepper powder
¼ tsp salt
METHOD
1. Soak the soyabeans overnight.
2. Grind it with the required quantity of water so as to form a thick
batter.
3. Mix the batter, salt and pepper powder till well combined.
4. Mix the chopped onion, chilli, ginger, garlic and coriander leaves
till well combined.
5. Divide the filling into two portions.
6. Divide the batter into two portions. Spread one portion on a hot tawa
as thinly as possible. Pour one teaspoon oil over its edges. Spread one
filling portion evenly. When the base is crisp and golden, turn and cook
the other side.
7. Repeat till the batter and the filling is over.
8. Serve hot with sauce, chutney or sambhar.
