SAVOURY LAPSI

INGREDIENTS

1 cup wheat rawa
2 tomatoes, finely chopped
¼ tsp salt

For Seasoning
1 tsp oil
¼ tsp cumin seeds
¼ tsp mustard seeds
1 green chilli, chopped
1 red chilli, broken into pieces.
1 tsp curry leaves

For Garnishing

1 tsp roasted peanuts

METHOD
1. Roast the wheat rawa till the raw smell disappears.
2. Heat oil and fry the seasoning ingredients.
3. Add tomatoes and fry.
4. Add 3 cups of water and the salt.
5. When the water begins to boil, add roasted rawa and cook on a high flame, stirring constantly for 5 minutes. Cover it with lid and cook on a a slow fire for a few more minutes.
6. Serve hot, garnished with roasted peanuts or 1 tsp melted ghee or butter spooned over it.
