INGREDIENTS
1-cup moong dal
¼ tsp salt
½ tsp ginger-garlic-green chilli paste
2 tsp coriander leaves, chopped
METHOD
1. Roast the dal till the raw smell disappears.
2. Soak the dal for an hour.
3. Grind the dal along with the salt and the required quantity of water
into a thick batter.
4. Mix the batter with the masala paste and the coriander leaves till
well combined.
5. Pour the batter into the idli moulds and steam it for 5 minutes.
6. Serve hot with chutney or sambhar.
